Pitcher’s elbow, or medial apophysitis is an overuse injury to the inside of the elbow. It most often appears in baseball or softball players during the period of rapid growth between the ages of 11 and 15. Physical therapy is an excellent way to treat this common injury.
Physical therapy focuses primarily on improving the strength and mobility of the elbow. We will also educate you on ways to reduce the risk of reinjury, and help you improve your functional movement to avoid putting undue stress on the elbow during your daily life.
